Postdoc coursework PDF Print E-mail

The Biomedical and Health Informatics (BHI) coursework requirements for all non-degree seeking NIH National Libary of Medicine (NLM) funded BHI postdoctoral trainees are listed below. These must be completed by the end of their two-year fellowship:

  • Enroll in four of the eight core courses required of the BHI graduate students. One of these four must be MEBI 530, Introduction to Biomedical & Health Informatics
  • Enroll in at least one of MEBI 590 or a 591 offering each quarter (excluding summers)
  • Lead at least one MEBI 591 colloquium or MEBI 598 special topics course.
