National Library of Medicine (NLM) Training Grant Funding:

Our Biomedical and Health Informatics program has a training grant from the National Library of Medicine, and therefore can offer NLM Fellowships for qualified pre-doctoral Ph.D. students or post-doctoral trainees. The duration of these fellowships is 3 years for pre-doctoral students and 2 years for post-doctoral. The fellowships include tuition, a monthly stipend, health benefits and travel expenses to the NLM training conference in the summer and AMIA conference in the fall. These fellowships require full time enrollment during the academic year and US citizenship or Resident Alien status.

Also see press release for Sept, '07.

Research Assistantships:

Our faculty are involved in many research projects, some of which include funded slots for research assistants. The terms and availability of these sources of funding is determined by the principal investigator(s) of the grants.

Teaching Assistantships:

As we do not (currently) offer large-enrollment courses, there are no TA-ships available directly through BHI.
