The BHI Computer Lab (I-Lab) |
The vision behind the Informatics Computer Lab (I-lab) was to create a location in which students can experiment with old, new, and cutting edge technologies and software. It includes a diverse collection of equipment that encompasses current industry standards and cutting edge technology. The lab is a working environment for research and testing and there is a subset of machines available to customize, rebuild or reinstall technologies for individual projects as needed. The students and faculty dictate much of what is needed in the lab, based on current experiments, classes and projects.
BHI students have had success in acquiring some of the technology in the I-lab through the Student Technology Fee award process.
The Informatics Computer Lab is located in the T wing of the Health Sciences Center: room T-277.
