Dhileep Sivam passed his General Exam on Thursday, May 1.  Congratulations!

Congratulations to the BHI Student iLab, James Gannon, and all of the students/faculty/staff who contributed to writing a proposal seeking funds from the Student Technology Fee (STF) Committee for the purchase of equipment and software for the iLab.  The STF Committee reviewed 74 proposals that were submitted for its first proposal cycle this year.  They decided to fund the BHI Student iLab proposal for the full amount of $19K.  The approved items are Atlas Ti software, digital camera, Endnote X1, server, Macbook Pro w/Endnote, sheetfed document scanner, and Visual Studio + Microsoft Developer Network.  For detailed information, see the proposal.

Eithon Cadag successfully completed his General Exam on April 8!  His presentation was excellent, and Dr. Peter Myler looks forward to working with him to complete his thesis work.
